Artisan of the Month - Pink Room Crafts

Amanda Pryzner-Dunn of Pink Room Crafts began paper crafting in 2006 while living in Manchester, England. Initially focused on creating greeting cards, Amanda soon began to explore different techniques including quilling (paper rolling), embossing, stamping, as well as watercolour and acrylic painting.

As a primary school teacher, she had the opportunity to gain experience in other areas of arts and crafts and further develop an appreciation for a variety of artistic styles.

Often inspired by nature, Amanda recently expanded Pink Room Crafts to include a line of all-natural bath and body products, including cold process soaps, aromatherapy blends, and rejuvenating bath salts.

Amanda moved to Merritt in 2017 and enjoys being a part of the Nicola Valley Arts Centre where she manages the Artisan Shop and participates as a class instructor. She loves spending time enjoying the Nicola Valley scenery with her husband, Kevin, and her dog, Jeff. Amanda sees every day as an opportunity to learn, connect, and create all while embracing the adventure that is life!
